As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, my experience at Alaiye was quite refreshing for a corporate retreat. The hotel is strategically located near Kleopatra Beach, making it an ideal spot for some after-work relaxation. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The meeting rooms are equipped for effective sessions, and the Wi-Fi quality was decent, which is essential for those of us managing remote work tasks. For long video calls, I found the connection could sometimes falter on the edges of the property. Dining at the rooftop restaurant was a pleasant experience, although the selection could benefit from more variety, particularly in fish and meat dishes. The pool area provides a soothing atmosphere, perfect for winding down after meetings, although a few sunbeds were in need of repair. In terms of amenities, Alaiye offers essential services like a gym, spa, and 24-hour reception. The lack of elaborate drink options at the bars might be a drawback for some, but the ambiance remains enjoyable. Alaiye serves as a practical base for business travelers, with enough amenities to balance work and leisure.
